hide me in the hollow of your hand

Let me hide myself forever
deep inside the hollow of your hand,

I can't carry this weight any longer,
this breaking inside I can't understand.

My mind's torn into a million pieces,
my heart beats rhythms too fast to count,

But as long as you are here, holding me, breaking,
then I can rest in your loving fount.

Holy, sweet and holy Father,
how you've held me in these waves all before,

Now please hear and remember my sighing,
and gently, please gently, wash me soon up on grace water's shore.
