Much Ado About Nothing

Our play is in three weeks. Not long enough. I'm sort of nervous; afraid we won't be able to pull it off, but mostly I'm really excited.
I went shopping with another actress today for costume pieces, and fabric to make costumes. (This may sound weird, but I've never been shopping with just another girl... it's quite the awesome experience. :) We found so many things we were looking for, and all for good prices. (Goodwill is a great place to look for fabric, by the way.)
Tomorrow I'll begin sewing. I'm getting together with several other girls, and we'll start work first on the guys' vests. Next comes the girls' vests. (I'm more excited about making the girls' vests than the guys' :) It's all a little overwhelming to me right now, because there are so many vests to make. But I'm confident it will all work out.
So is all of this preparation much ado about nothing? I don't think so. I think God's going to do amazing things with this play, and that He will be glorified. After all, if you do what you do, for God, it's never much ado about nothing.
So if you are near Concord, NC on May 21 or 22, do come to see it! We have a great cast, an awesome director, and lovely costumes (I'm hoping. :) To God be the glory!

  1. Wish we lived closer! I'm sure it will be great! Post lots of pictures. Is someone going to video tape it? I've heard that you have a great leading man! :) Just saying!

  2. Yes- our leading actor is awesome. :) We'll have a photographer taking pictures, and I'm pretty sure someone's video-taping.
