All of my life revolves around me. It's all about what makes me happy, what I feel like at the moment, what other people think of me, etc., etc. That's what it is, not what it should be.
What my life should be all about:

Not ME surrendering all to him, but me surrendering all to HIM.

Not ME worshipping him, but HIM being worshipped.

Not ME being forgiven by him, but HIM forgiving me.

Not ME being the daughter of the king, but THE KING being my father.

Not ME trusting in him, HIM being the only one to trust in.

I wish I could become more God-centered, and less me-centered. That's the problem; it's what I wish I could do. The only way it's gonna happen is if I ask God to do it.

  1. This is a great post! So many times we can fool ourselves into thinking that we are worshipping God when we are really worshipping ourselves. Our worship has become what makes us really feel like we're worshipping God.

  2. Thank you! I'm realizing more and more how focused I always seem to be on myself. It's so hard to see only Him, but I trust He'll break me and make me see only Him...
