I am only insane upon occasions when my heart was touched

A poor excuse for reason,
I let go and watched you fall
Talking to myself again;
I didn't hear you call.

Did I lose my mind again
or did you only steal my heart?
When will the aching cease,
or is this just the start?

I'm lost, seeking a reason,
but I close my eyes to see you here.
In crazing, consuming confusion,
the love that is to come draws near.

Be brave, you'd said, and never fear,
but you were the one who suffered deeper.
You grab my hand to face the wind-storm,
and we climb faster when it grows steeper.

  1. Wow! This is excellent. My favorite stanza is the third. Also, I love the new look!

  2. thank you, Jenna! I liked the third one best myself. :) I'm glad you like the new look; I was growing tired of pink and felt a change would be good.

  4. Last stanza is my favorite. And how refreshing to see no pink...I like the new design. :)

  5. Thanks, Liz! Haha, Seth, you made me laugh. Sorry if the pink was terribly aggravating. I was in a pink mood when I did it and I wasn't actually in a pink mood for very much longer (I am very rarely in a pink mood) and I was aggravated by it for a while but too lazy or busy to change it.
And I said I liked the 3rd stanza best, but I read it again... and I can't decide whether I like 3rd or 4th better. Thank you. :)
